One day..!

Another day of clearing Iris’s studio room. Yesterday we made great inroads into taking the various sacks and boxes to charity shops or for clearance. Sunday is when her tenancy agreement ends.

Today I’d booked St Christopher’s Hospice free furniture collection to take the armchairs, reclining chair and a chest of drawers. Wonderfully they also took the wardrobes and bed for us for clearance. But now her room is empty and that’s sad.

We did laugh though taking these ‘’sholleys”away. D said he hopes they find a good home… but not ours yet.

This evening I joined friends for a post-Christmas meal. I’m very tired but it was good to be with friends and there was lots of laughter.
