Goodbye Chelem

Sitting in the Dallas Fort Worth airport waiting to board my flight to Portland. This was the most seamless entry into the US of any airport I’ve ever been through. Granted I have Global Entry and TSA Pre-check, which speeds things up enormously! And I carried my luggage on. I was off the plane, through immigration, customs and security, and changed terminals all in 30 minutes. Good luck? Maybe. But I am impressed.

I had a terrific time visiting my sister at her home in Chelem, Yucatán. I’m already planning my next trip, although it probably won’t be for a year. She’ll be back at her home in Vancouver, WA sometime in April.
