Saltire Centre

Part of the staircase in the amazing Saltire Centre, Glasgow Caledonian.

My office is in an older part of the University that is attached to the Centre and I walk through here a few times a day to get water. A portrait of Magnus Magnussun is hung on the floor that I need to get to and he has been acting as my personal landmark every time I get lost in the maze of corridors.

The building won a prestigious RIBA award and tops favourite buildings of the world lists. It really is a beauty.

That's me done for my first week - a nice (normal!) start. Glass of wine methinks.
