Skyscape

There was an awesome skyscape this afternoon, which I noticed when leaving work and had to blip. This blip doesn't do the scene any justice.

It has been a dank, drizzly, wet day (albeit quite warm and humid) but ever so briefly at 5pm this afternoon, the grey clouds parted to show a brilliant azure blue patch of sky crossed by higher level contrails, which had a sort of herringbone flavour to their pattern.

Very nice indeed.
