Up on Glencoe Rd . . .

Missy & I set out just after 8am and reached the top of Tobins about the same time that the sun arrived, so we really did beat the worst of the heat.
We continued on up onto Glencoe Rd and headed north towards Brow Peak - just visible in the photo.
It’s been a very hot afternoon, almost oppressively so, and the temp reached 30°C in my living room.
