Pamela Bartrum Rose

This rose named after my SIL who was an international rose judge was one of those I transplanted from my last garden. It was slow to take off but now doing well.
I have had a great day, I went this afternoon to help at the home where my friend is. They like me to come on a third Friday to lead the singing. A great pianist comes and gee does everybody love it. The joy on their faces today was an absolute treat. One man who can be rather trying sang out loud when he knew a song and had his own requests. He just stayed in his chair the whole time with a smile of pleasure on his face it was a joy to see.  A 99 year old who taught music in her working life sang a long and said how much she appreciated it.  A simple pleasure but a room full of happy people. It doesn't take much to tick my boxes
