Working or retired, Fridays are always cheered here! • A mostly quiet day. We took a ride to the river to see the crowd of mallards fly and swim and sun and preen. A few Canada geese were mixed in, along with a couple of female and male mergansers • Who can resist the female’s wild red hairdo :)) • Some admin got done, birds fed, a little housework, now we’re about ready to watch season two finale of Silo!! Sadly season three isn’t expected until spring of 2026. What a bummer, but it’s such a good show it will be worth waiting for. The sci-fi series is based on a trilogy written by Hugh Howey. I may have to check that out! • Hopeful news coming out of Israel and Hamas, however we’re dreading next week’s inauguration, and will not be watching • Have a great weekend • Peace & Love
