A day in the life

Sight of good hope

My mission to free up disc-space continues. I am a collector, I must admit. I have hundreds of recordings made during the last thirty years and more, that I've kept only because someone would suddenly want to hear them and be grateful that I still have them. Not so any more. I'm throwing away lots of recordings, after some consideration, and feel lighter doing it.

During my walk i came across this field of winter-wheat (I think it is), planted during late the autumn. It looks much stronger than it did only a couple of weeks ago, we have an unusual and long mild period at the moment. In no way it means that spring is imminent but looking at the field gives me a clear indication that the cycle has turned towards milder days. It's still winter though, our coldest month is usually February.
