Turkeying Around

A lovely turkey couple came to check us out on a dog walk today. Not the best looking birds but I do like how their feathers lay. Whidbey loves to check the turkeys out and surprisingly they tend to stand their ground! No turkey on dog fights have occurred because he gets restrained before getting too close but we are tempted to let them meet. An extra of a medium sized buck keeping a close eye on us as we pass, Whidbey doesn't usually notice the deer... we think he denies the existence of any animal that is bigger than him.
