Leesburg

A chilly walk around town this evening. It looked pretty in the snow, though required careful footing in places. This is taken from the old courthouse grounds looking at the intersection of King Street (the north-south "Old Carolina Road") and Market Street. Extras of the courthouse (Spring here) and one of my favorite trees.

Had a productive day with busywork (sorting papers, figuring out college loans, catching up on laundry, cooking) and a fun visit with cousin Shelley (during which we didn't discuss politics). The work crew commenced work on the front steps and we supplied hot tea and brownies. Also kept in close touch about Mom's shoulder surgery this afternoon; she's just home now and Kristie will stay over, as she needs to have medicine every four hours. 

It's cold! very cold! more snow expected this next week.
