BethaBlip 80...

This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I take the same photo in the same place each 1st and 15th of each month along with a wee diary of what has happened and how life has progressed for each of them. Bethany on the 1st and Ewan on the 15th. It is quite remarkable and is accentuated by the 1 year ago thumbnail down in the bottom right.

What do you see? Well she'll be seeing slightly blurry in one eye because she's looking over the top of her glasses.....again. She claims they don't fit her properly and is probably angling to get a new pair but I think she's just a bit lazy about them.

This is fairly recent but I think I might have indadvertedly sparked Bethany's addiction to a Wii game called Animal Crossing. She found it in the cupboard and decided to play it a little. I created my own character and moved into the town she created and helped get her along a wee bit. I sent her a letter in the game with a present attached and she hasn't stop nattering about it since I got home today.

We headed down to the library tonight (nattering about Animal Crossing) to complete the summer reading challenge that they were running. They had to read six books over the summer. Bethany was rattling through books so we had to get what we call 'chapter books'. These are what they sound like, more reading, less pictures like our conventional bedtime stories. They got wee prizes for every two books they returned to the library culminating in a medal and tickets to a screening of Hotel Transylvania up at the Carnegie Hall.

Lastly, Bethany has picked up a wee vocal tick that we've been trying to correct her on. Why and How. She'll use the word 'How' in place of 'Why'. I know it's just a wee local dialect thing but it's quite annoying when you keep noticing it.
