Progress IV..

..windy, and damp in Scourie today, with a high of 18. A bit different to the 32 my mum had in Gloucester!!

So, inside jobs, aided by A and K. Removed the old lintel above the window in the shed. Also had to remove quite a lot of loose stone in the process. All of the stone above the window with wet cement was removed, and some of those stones took two of us to lift and replace. I admire the original builders immensely.

K raked out lots of old cement, and A and me cut and put up the floor joists. All cemented in place, but need to do one in the green house before I can do the floor boards. Will need to cut and fix some dwangs (noggins in english) to stop the joist from twisting..
