SAVING MONEY ON SILLY SATURDAY!

Hello Lovely Blippers,

We were very excited last night when we heard Mr. & Mrs. HCB discussing going to the carwash today because it’s great fun.  However, because it was going to cost about £20, they, or rather Mrs. HCB  decided that they could save some money if they did it themselves.  Even more fun for us, because we could help them!  

We all got up extra early and were waiting in the kitchen when Mrs. HCB brought her flowery wellies through before having her breakfast.  Some of us decided that it would be fun to jump into the wellies and have our photographs taken, which is what we did and we think we look quite fetching!

Then it was time to go out into the freezing cold and it was cold this morning, so Mr. HCB put on his old hat and found some yellow rubber gloves, because his hands were cold.  Mrs. HCB was all dressed up with a fleece and hat, but no gloves, now that was silly, and we can imagine that Admirer would have said so too!

First of all, we heard Mrs. HCB whingeing because she thought that she wouldn’t be allowed to use the high-powered spray, but Mr. HCB was very kind and allowed her to use it, as long as she didn’t point it at him, which she has done in the past - well you know her - she is a bit of a one for doing silly things, but then it is Silly Saturday, so as she says “Why not?”

It took about an hour, and although we tried to polish the car, it was far too cold and the polish almost froze on the car bonnet, so we had to be content with just doing the windows and then we came in for hot chocolate and marshmallows, which was lovely.  We know that the HCBs have some lovely soup for lunch, so perhaps we might be able to share that too.

Anyway, we think we have helped the HCBs and as you know we like to be kind and to remind you all to BE KIND too!  We hope you all have a good week and try to be kind to someone who can’t repay you - but get them to “pay it forward” - that is such a fantastic thing to do and then KINDNESS will be shared around, and that is GOOD and not at all silly.

P.S.  Mr. HCB is in the conservatory again doing THAT jigsaw puzzle - see extra - and he's doing really well, but we are leaving him to it, because it's not very warm out there!
