Sweet sweet the memories you gave me..............

I was having a sort out of some of our kitchen cupboards earlier this week and saw that the syrup was past it's sell by date, so rather than throw the tin away, I washed it out for a future blip. Today is that day, as I haven't been anywhere. When I was a child ( a long time ago)I used to have Ready Brek for breakfast and my mum used to put syrup on it. The lion on the front fascinated me, especially the say underneath, saying, Out of the strong came forth sweetness.  That has stuck with me, I don't know why.
Not a very nice day, very grey, misty & cold, the opposite to yesterday.
