Memento mori

I had my volunteer job day.  My sister called me around 11 pm that mom s situation is detoriating. Her children and husband were allready there so we sat with mom till she left the body at around 20U30 pm. She went silently without pain. Afterwards i washed her body together with the male nurse and did cloth her for the burial. We said to the undertaker to close the coffin as we have seen her and we took goodbye.
For me it was a healing experience to wash and cloth my mom , talking to her and wishing her a good voyage in the spirit up to her family members and dad.
