Daffodils

First of the year here, from my shopping yesterday :)

This morning I was up and out fairly early on the bus into Reading (bus had no heating on, so by the time I got into Reading I was frozen :( )

First I went to John Lewis to ask advice about my washing machine which was installed at my old house on 21st February 2018!  So its done quite well.  

I ran an 'eco drum clean' last night which went fine - however when I opened the machine and turned the drum, I heard a 'clinking' noise.  It turned out there were these little bits of like 'silt' in the drum?  

I'm no sure how serious this is, but my machine is definitely out of the John Lewis Guarantee and the Samsung Guarantee now...  However, the helpful young 'partner' in John Lewis today has given me a customer service  for Samsung and said that sometimes even if its out of guarantee they will come out and take a look.  Not sure how helpful this is but I will try calling them.

Then I went to look at office chairs whilst I was there.  Absolutely no staff even around their at all, so no help whatsoever :(  I had a couple of questions to ask.  

After this I went to Marks and Spencer's for a look at 'wool' duvet's - none available in that store, but I have brought some brushed cotton sheets.

Then I went for a coffee and naughty cake before I visited the lingerie department for some thermal leggings :)

A little rant


Having paid for everything - the sheets upstairs and the other things downstairs and with a receipt in both bags - the buzzer stopped me from leaving as did the security guard - even though I had a receipt for everything.  He made me go back and have everything checked :(  I was so cross as I was literally running for a bus....  There was nothing wrong, but still the buzzer went...  In the end he let me leave.  

Luckily by rushing I just managed to catch the bus home (another one with no heating on!)

After lunch, I quickly popped up to Sainsburys for a few things I couldn't get at Aldi, like cat litter.  Guess what they didn't have any...

Home I shut Charlie out of the bedroom, opened the bed, and found a couple more thick jumpers which is great.  Then I've rotated the mattress, and made the bed up in the new sheets etc :)

I was planning to do some craft stuff today but I've just run out of time.

Just about to start making a creamy paprika pork dish for my dinner :)

Michael MacIntyre's Big Show returns tonight and later anoher episode of Casualty, which I will probably watch on iplayer :)
