Great Whernside.
Bright sunshine, although cold, said the weather forecast.
Thick fog and absolutely baltic said the reality.
Matthew and I have been for a walk from Kettlewell up to the top of Great Whernside. We were very well layered up but the layers didn't touch the sides at the summit with a biting cold wind and pea soup fog.
We did both enjoy the adventure despite the rubbish weather; negotiating extreme bogs and thick icy snow drifts was quite the experience.
It's safe to say it was car heater on full blast...once I'd managed to open the car that is! Matthew had to press the button on the keys because my fingers had died a death!
Time for a cosy evening having relived the highlights of Liverpool beating Brentford 2-0. 2 extra time goals from Núñez in just two minutes!
Nails to be done tomorrow. :-P
