It would have been so easy for me to just roll over in bed this morning, but I forced myself out into the cold and drove the ten miles to Holywell for the Greenfield Valley Parkrun.

There were patches of white frost on the course making things a bit tricky. I think everyone managed to stay upright, but caution was definitely needed, especially on the turns. I finished in 32nd place with a time of 28:43 which is a few seconds slower than usual.

Late afternoon, with the sun low in the sky, I took a 5km walk along the beach and promenade at Rhyl.
