Focus and Light

I was planning on not doing much today, but following the zoom photo editing session yesterday one of the ladies round the corner rang and said she’d been inspired to get her indoor lighting kit set up and do some close up flower work. Would I like to join her?
So it was an ideal opportunity for me to try my macro lens, and we had a good hour or so talking focus and lighting and trying different approaches.

My blip is a combination of my camera and her kit. The extra image shows just the exposed tulip which (even if I do say so myself) is pretty clear and sharp :-)

Then I whizzed home for my video call with Nicoiseannie, and we chatted for an hour about what we’d been up to in the last week. A lovely catch up as always.
