Chill Time

A quiet, gentle day at Mum's house in Pinner.   Our house now, to be emptied and sold.  Food and chat.   A quick shop.  A dog walk.   We're all tired and rather wrung out so it's nice to have relaxed together.  

Setting off home tomorrow.  Some quiet downtime at home will be good before turning to face the backlog of jobs .... and the whole lot of new ones connected with this house.

I picked three iris buds and brought them with me.   It's something I did on the last few visits to see mum too.  She commented on the lovely scent last time.   They opened yesterday just as we were setting off for her funeral.
