Threads through the Bible

I went into Liverpool with a friend to visit this exhibition at the cathedral, it was really worth the visit. There are 44 huge silk panels by the textile artist Jacqui Parkinson telling the bible story. The extra hopefully gives you an idea of the scale of the exhibition. The works are beautiful and so cleverly created as I stood with my friend we saw more and more interesting things, from simple depictions of insects to deep theological insights so well portrayed. I will certainly be returning a few more times before the exhibition moves on in march.
