Carrot in a Box!

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow but Especially Dear Princess,

We used the $200 voucher for Surfer's Mistress today! My birthday present from the Princess!

THANK YOU PRINCESS

We went with Jefe and Manda who were in really excellent chilled moods. They seemed so happy and so together and - 

AND OH MY GOD THEY ARE ENGAGED!

Yes! Apparently on a very special trek up to the top of a glacier, Jefe was so overwhelmed by emotion and happiness that he popped the question! Manda was so happy!

So it was an extra-special Caro's birthday, my birthday, engagement dinner party!

And when we got home, the celebrations continued with a rousing game of Carrot in a Box.

It was Briar who told me about Carrot in a Box and I felt inspired to get a carrot and a couple of boxes. Better still, the empty cat-food boxes I used did not have lids, they had FLAPS.

So I got to explain that Caro would lift her flap in order to examine the contents of her box. And that then Jefe would PROBE her in order to determine if she had a carrot in her box. 

It was as silly and as funny as I had hoped. And Jefe was very happy because he WON the whole tournament. He is King of Carrot in a Box.

So in one night, he won Manda's heart. AND a carrot.
