Our last walk to the beach today, and the last blue sky and sunshine for a while. My son drove us to Sydney Airport and we made our farewells. It's been a wonderful 6 weeks, starting at Port Dougkas 6 weeks ago.  It seems to have gone so quickly,  too quickly,  but I'm ready to go home now.  Amazingly, I met my Southampton friend A, who is also travelling home today, in departures, and we spent an hour together. I also had a quick video call from my granddaughter and family, to wave me goodbye...and she sent a fun video of a compilation of photos of us together .....Happy memories made..
