Park Run 300

A resting kind of day today so I was marshalling at  my local Park Run. It was their 300th event and was very well attended with runners of all abilities, from speed merchants to the gentle walk/plodder.  I also counted about 6 dogs running with their owners....actually it was probably the other way round as the dogs seemed to be having much more fun than their human holding on to the lead! 

It was bitter cold and dull but the sense of community in folk coming together for a Saturday morning run was heartwarming and more than made up for my freezing cold toes at the end of the run.
