Meeting the Neighbour!

Compared to the recent weather it was a mild day so we decided to do some gardening. 

We have a perfect spot hidden away at the bottom of the garden to set out some compost bins. The space has been used to dump garden waste but we didn't know if it had been placed on the ground or paving slabs. As we dug we realise there was soil beneath... perfect!

We've put that aside to use in the garden and we now need to get compost bins for the rest of the garden waste. This is quite a project in itself.

Lizzie the horse, who resides in the field behind, came up to the wall to see what we were up to, and probably looking for some food.

It's a year ago today that we first viewed our current home. By the end of April we'd bought it and moved in July.
