16 Minutes After Sunset
Amazingly, in mid-winter, the temperature reached 52°F(11°C) today. I took this at 16 minutes after sunset, hence the glow and pink clouds. Puddles of ice meltwater out on the lake, yet still a few people out there fishing. A few animal tracks showing in the remaining snow along the shore, where it is somewhat shielded from the sun by trees.
Wonky horizons do throw me off, so I try to correct them as much as possible. With a wide angle, it is harder to check for level when taking the shot. But, sometimes when the shoreline goes in and out, the line is not totally level and I find it hard to decide just how it should be when editing.
