The bare bones …
… of the Walled Garden at Balloch Country Park.
After our late and loud Saturday night out we had a quiet and peaceful Sunday morning walk round Balloch Country Park. We went in search of mandarin ducks that I had been tipped off about by the Kingfisher lady on Friday but there were none to be seen. Lots of crows, jackdaws and magpies but nothing on the water other than a few swans and mallards.
I’ve not been to Balloch Country Park in a very long time and must go back in the summer when the walled garden will have more colour although I did like the bare branches wrapped around the posts of the central walkway.
