Gliddons Ironmongers

On the corner of Church Street a little bit of Victoriana from our trip today to Sidmouth in East Devon. Gliddons has been here since the premises were built in 1887. The shop, which was originally an Ironmongers has now been rebranded as Gliddon's Cooks Corner Cookshop. In streets where shops change hands many times, and seem increasingly to be occupied by estate agents, solicitors, charity shops and mens barbers, it is nice to see a continuation of historical tradition.
