Snowdrops

Well although I didn’t set my alarm clock, I did wake up at just after 5am and got up to watch the Draper / Alcaraz match. The first set was close, although Jack was a bit slower after his three in a row five set thrillers. Unfortunately he got an injury at the end of the set and despite treatment off court, he was struggling physically and Carlos won the set easily, then Jack sensibly retired. I then watched the Djokovic match which was a straightforward win for him. After lunch I walked in to town to get a newspaper, very cold again but it woke me up after the early start. I got this (not great) phone camera photo of the emerging snowdrops in the churchyard. I then watched the film Fly Me To The Moon, which I enjoyed. Well done to Fakenham racecourse who invited farmers to the meet today for free, provided they turned up in a tractor.

P.S. I don’t like the look of the weather from Thurs with the strong winds!
