Kilt!

CyclopsJnr has a number of events coming up needing smart attire, so today we went out and got him a kilt.  It's just a cheap one (not a proper wool one) but it looks OK and should equip him for forthcoming occasions, starting with the school P6 Burns Supper on Tuesday.

The sporran was a gift from Cyclops' grandfather to Cyclops when he was a baby.  Cyclops never had occasion to wear a kilt as a small child, so while it has been cherished for the best part of half a century, it's never actually been worn in anger.  It's on the small side for CyclopsJnr but will do for now!

CyclopsJnr also enjoyed rugby training with Accies this morning - he did some great passing and scored a try.
