‘Checking the Cake’

I just got back from a happy family party in Glasgow this evening to celebrate both my birthday, which was today, and my daughter’s birthday, which was last Tuesday.

Here’s Paul, my grandson, eagerly tasting one of the two cakes made on this occasion, not by him but by his big sister and their grandmother!
