Birthday Hot Tub

Linda’s birthday hot tub was perfect after today’s swim. It’s cold out there!

Cathie ran with Jodie from Bardon down to our swimming spot.
Not many of us this morning. Leslie, Lucy, Linda, Hannah, Cathie and myself. It was all a little disjointed as Leslie and Lucy needed to be off quick, and Cathie hadn’t arrived. Then she went to get changed and we all went down. Linda and I held back a bit for her, then it was just me waiting for her wondering if I should just get in. Finally I went in as the others were getting out! Cathie just dunked. I managed three wee loops.
It was cold but not massively more than the previous week. The others thought it was a lot colder. I think it was just the air temp and breeze. My fingers stopped working before I got my tops on!

The rest of the day was at home. I baked some rock buns. Haven’t done that, I don’t think, since my teens!!! Had them with coffee while watching Enola Holmes and crocheting.

Walking the girls this evening was nice. It is cold again but the ground is dry again so they aren’t getting that horrid black way.
I’m also pleased to say that there are still clumps of snow still around! :)
