Room with a View
I have unexpectedly ended back in hospital again. This is a view from the A&E window. Pity I am not able to enjoy the lovely day. First in a while.
I had a 9am appointment for my Pacemaker check. Over the weekend I wasn't feeling great with difficulty to breath at times, especially when lying down. The Pacemaker technician, Sharon said I needed to see a doctor as soon as possible because of my breathing and pain in my chest. Also my AF was high at times. She said since having the Pacemaker I have been in consist AF... which I thought. The Pacemaker was working will and no problems there. Sharon looked for a Cardiac doctor but there wasn't any around. So she got a wheelchair and took me over to the A&E. Also she contacted the Cardiac until to say what was happening.
I was lucky I didn't have a long wait in A&E to see the Cardiac doctor. He said I had some fluid on the lungs and lots of swell in the legs. It is because of my AF. The next stage of the Pacemaker will have to be done as soon as possible as the AF is affecting my heart and stopping it working properly.
I am in a different ward this time and it is so dark and gloomy. It is a four beded one in the new part of the hospital. All you can see out the window is another building almost touching it.
I will miss little Micky.
