Year 2
I'm nineteen days into my second year of keeping a five year memory book. It's a lot of fun to try and summarise my day into a few lines. Some days are easy to do because there's so little going on, whilst other days are much harder due to everything that happens that day. I've discovered that its easier to take a few moments, each day, to write, rather than putting it off. If I put it off, even once, I end up procrastinating and then I find that I haven't written for weeks (I did that at the end of last year; never again).
We went to church this morning. The sermon was in English, which was a lovely change. The speaker is from one of the Four12 churches on the Isle of Man. We have the regional conference over the upcoming weekend (24-26 January) with the elders meeting running during the week. So the speaker came early for that and was asked to speak this morning. I was able to listen, as one of the other mums said she'd watch Little Man.
We had a lovely, quiet afternoon. It was lovely being able to just relax and with Little Man. He's been doing well but was quiet tired, so I ended up putting him to bed a bit earlier than I had planned to.
