Lucky to have a nice sleep and stay over at the local hotel for a good price. Big room, nice breakfast. It's cold out here in Shanghai after a very warm week in Australia, I'm reminded of the sharp cold. Thankfully, I prepared so it's ok. Everything went smoothly. I'm much more confident with my time and the space I need to get to my next step. I know that this transit will be forgotten, but right now, it's all that's needed. I'm busy reading whilst waiting in line, and instead of looking at others or feeding my impatience, letting myself use the time more effectively feels a lot more satisfying. I'm reading Lost Connections by Johann Hari and it's really helping me feel calm and less anxious.
