Dreading Nought
I had only had a single bottle of beer post-Panto, but coupled with the energy drinks earlier in the day, the buffet food and being late to bed meant that I woke this morning very heavy of head and bleary of eye.
Managed to pull myself together enough to get a cup of tea and my children from the parents and then headed out for a lovely Sunday afternoon lunch with the wee ones. Proper carvery job and it was absolutely delicious.
Freezing cold day though, so we were glad to get home, light the fire and have an afternoon viewing of Wicked, which was pretty good.
Fresh from a Warhammer tutorial courtesy of their uncle on Friday night, my brilliant children then got stuck into some of the sets they had been working on, while I dozed on the sofa and Elphaba and Glinda defied gravity…
By the end of the film, m’boy had finished this marvellous creation (a Dreadnought), which is now ready for a lick or two of paint. Very impressed that he was able to put this together on his own.
There’s been lots of hugs and dozing today.
Just what the doctor ordered.
ZZZZzzzzzzzz
