Torrey pines

In work at 7:30am. Left at 6pm. Ridiculous. Did I get a lot achieved? No. Spent a lot of the day spoon feeding the new undergrad on how to use a pipette. I got her confused with the calibration. Mostly because I incorrectly stated that water weighed 1 mg/ml. When infact it is 1 g/ml. Blind leading the blind.

Anyway, dropped the wife off at solana beach train station I took the 101 back and this time the bridge was open (unlike here on Tuesday).

Back to find babe had knocked over the kitchen bin (first time ever) and had proceeded to lick clean the raw chicken tray that we had for dinner last night. Hopefully she doesn't suffer.

The wife had tried to rescue some kind of rat that died in her hands at lunch. Nicely she has left it in the patio for me to deal with. Babe is going crazy seeing it there.

Got to tidy the house up for friends visiting tomorrow, get some food and booze in and prepare for my biometrics appointment tomorrow morning for green card (can't come soon enough).
