Loch saugh

Up early picked up pal and we headed to do wee hills.

Frosty on first hill, no rucksack as short. Forestry road to start then straight to summit through mature trees to a deep Heather summit. Still and quiet summit with a trig.

A wee drive then hill number 2 with rucksack, a cracking wee hill with stunning views, again Still and quiet again and warm enough to sit and enjoy the vista.

My old kimmsac fell apart and map 45 was lost.

One more hill a wee drive over a classic cycling road to a lovely wee glen. New plantation meant following a deer fence on reasonable ground. We decided no technology to find summit so we paced through the trees to a mossy trig and summit. Followed very brave mountain bike route back to car. Tge Loch looking stunning, still partially frozen.

Drive home.

Through rucksack away and replaced with a slightly better kimmsac for next trip.

Quiet night.
