Jardin de Balata, Martinique

We docked at Fort de France, Martinique early this morning and disembarked, after breakfast, for our excursion to these wonderful gardens high in the hills.

Ir was very warm, nicely cooled by several short rain showers. We walked along a suspended bridge over the gardens. It gave a nice view of the plants and trees, if a little wobbly.

I had hoped to blip a sunset but the sun has just disappeared behind cloud so that will have to wait for another day.
