Goodbye LA

Travel day today as we are heading back to San Fran for the last leg of our holiday.

Got to the airport only to find out our flight was cancelled :( (due to mechanical problems) so they put us on the next available flight with four seats which was 6 hrs later!

Not really enough time to go back into LA taking traffic into consideration, so we made the executive decision to spend the time in the airport. Unfortunately LAX wasn't the best airport (of all the ones we've been in) to spend 6 hrs!!! Anyway, the time passed and we went for a few walkabouts where I was able to capture this pic of what I think looks like a space ship which is at the entrance of Los Angeles airport.

We're in San Francisco again and driving down to Quail Lodge in Carmel which I'm told is one of the most beautiful areas in California. Can't wait.

Was grateful for the quieter, slower day really. Our amazing holiday ends soon ... but just about ready to get back home.
