First pics 002

This is one of the very first digital pics I ever took. I had gotten a little Nikon Coolpix point-and-shoot as a gift the previous day and spent most of that evening learning how to use it. I shot this, along with a bunch of others, the next evening.

Six months later and I'm still shooting the same boring, insipid crap. Boats at sunset... might as well be black velvet Elvises. My composition's a little tighter now is all.

Notice the fishing lure in the tree, top center. I'm still doing that too, just less often.
