Today was the inauguration of the next President of America and interestingly, in his speech, he claimed the atom was split by an American!! 

Surely he knows a New Zealander by the name of Ernest Rutherford split the atom in 1917, a feat which he is widely known for - and he was born locally in the small town of Brightwater, near Nelson.
