Engaged

Luke and April got engaged yesterday!! On a specially planned hot air balloon flight piloted by my brother - handy to have a hot air balloon pilot in the family!

They have travelled home today after a 2 week holiday in Queensland.

I’ve had a day off work today and done some gardening. We planted the Natal Coral tree (grown from a seed from the parent tree at the Coffs Harbour Botanical garden) out into the garden. It’s been in a pot for years! Also transferred a newer version of the same tree gathered from the same place last year.

On a walk, I saw a juvenile White necked heron and a Black faced Cuckooshrike, both not listed in my book as having been seen on the property although I’ve seen them both before.
