Aprazivel Sunday

Our favourite Sunday things today - Ipanema hippy market (bought earrings), then an interesting-as-ever and part-of-the-fun steep taxi ride up to Aprazivel restaurant in Santa Teresa for a late lunch - lovely setting with a view of the city and delicious food (ceviche and bread selection , then duck, black rice and apple puree -both dishes to share) We usually try to come here once a trip. We’ve been coming to it for 20 years - ‘Since before we got the lift’ - said the waiter, when we were speaking to him. We came here with my mother-in-law and the stairs down into the restaurant were another adventure! Before coming down into Rio Sul again, we couldn’t resist another stop in the heart of Santa Teresa and then down to Tipicamente on our street for a couple of games of Yahtzee. A lovely Sunday!
