These boots were made for...

Ok, shoes, not boots... But, well, they've seen some things, these shoes...

A shot from last night's photo-group work based loosely on "still life: clothing". I had more fun with focus stacking, now that I've sorted it out, and this fifty frame creation took a lot of processing this morning.

I got married in these shoes, a few decades ago. They've seen prime ministers and presidents come and go, albeit from a box in my wardrobe, but I wonder if they'll do for the times we enter now... no goose steppers, these.

I was interested to read, and then check on my soon-to-be-deleted Instagram account... there's a lot of material if you search for #republican, but if you search for #democrat it doesn't accept the search term much less find anything. {update}
