Tis the day....

....to celebrate!

It's been an awesome day spent with family. Enjoyed being out for lunch, savoring the sea air and then dinner and cake at home, casual, relaxed, sharing memories and being totally spoilt. Feeling blessed to have many friends in my life who I've heard from throughout the day. Also lovely to have mum join us, her first day away from home after her fall, she loved every minute.

E organized the cake from Sweet Soul patisserie in the city, vanilla mousse, berry compote and coconut sponge, light and decadent, certainly hit the spot! Delicious!!

Thank you all for the birthday wishes on my last blip, loved reading your words, so touched :)

The question I was asked the most today...'have you got your gold card?' The answer is yes, it arrived just in time. I'm looking forward to being a 'Golden Girl' rather than a pensioner, haha, the beginning of a new chapter in my life :)

Summer showed her face today, warm and breezy.
