Campsis

We had a very hot day here in Norwich yesterday, I could almost see this Campsis bursting into flower. This semi-tropical shrub does surprisingly well on my south facing fence. It's almost too vigorous, swamping everything around it. I cut 25% out this spring to temper it a bit, but this hot,dry weather has realy got it going. We've had quite hard winters, this past 3. I wondered if it would survive : here it is!.
