A Touch Of Class. Leitz Summicron 50mm DR

After spending about a year making the Blanket Chest which came to live in our sitting room, Editor and I decided to splurge on the lid hardware.  
The chest sits below a set of shelves, and the lid, unattached to the chest, slides forward out from under the shelves.  We decided that this action would be facilitated by having handles to grab.  An online search revealed a company in Japan which sells their line of handmade hardware.  Not cheap, but not outrageous considering the handmade part, and also considering the chest is an heirloom piece - I won't be making many more like this.
This morning, a little package showed up after just a week via DHL all the way from Japan.
Once the handles are mounted, I'll post a Blip follow-up.
