Frigid

Thankfully the wind wasn’t blowing today making 10F feel not so bad. We bundled up in layers, hats and gloves to do our grocery shopping plus made another stop for mealworms, suet and seeds. By the weekend the temps will rise to the upper 20’s. I told MrsP we’ll be ready to breakout the bathing suits :) • Lots of bluebirds and starlings around, with frequent visits from bluejays, nuthatches, titmice, finches and chickadees. This lone mourning dove seemed quite content to warm herself on the edge of the heated birdbath. By sunset all the other doves will join her but they’re currently perched in a nearby boxelder tree • Peace & Love
