Tuesday morning

The pre sunrises this past week have been amazing, this morning was no exception. A heavy frost added to the wintery atmosphere, we explored a new area where kale and sunflowers were planted for pheasant cover and soil nourishing properties. A roe deer startled both of us as Dippy put ear plugs in and disappeared into the woods with total abandon!
Badger had eaten his peanuts, as had the bird life surrounding the feeders in the woods. After tidying and filling up the water tank plus other tasks and a tasty lunch Dippy and I headed out to see an elderly friend for lots of tea, cake and biscuits whilst Dippy attempted to catch cats!
Fish supper with lots of vegetables followed by Christmas cake, custard and double cream.
